🍪 Privacy policy

Updated: July 22, 2026. Written in plain language — no legal fog.

1 The short version

Mandavoshka is an online board game. We collect exactly as much data as it takes for you to play, keep your progress and climb the leagues. We do not sell your data — to anyone, ever.

2 What we collect

Account: nickname, email, a password hash (we never see the password itself). With Apple sign-in — the identifier Apple issues (and the email, if you chose to share it).

Guest profile: a random nickname like “Guest-1234” and a session cookie so your progress survives between visits. We know neither a guest’s name nor their contacts.

Game statistics: games, wins, chopped pieces, toilet time-outs, portals, your rating and its history.

Technical: IP address, device and browser type, platform — for security, the “My platforms” list and aggregate statistics.

Chat and reports: table messages and reports are stored so moderators can resolve conflicts.

3 Cookies

Essential cookies remember your sign-in, guest progress and chosen language — the site doesn’t work without them.

Analytics cookies help us see where players quit a game and what to improve. You can decline them in the cookie banner — the “Essential only” button. Your choice is remembered for a year; change your mind any time by clearing the site’s cookies.

4 Why we use it

To make the service work: sign-in, sync across devices, rating and leagues. To keep the table safe: chat moderation, report handling, fighting cheaters and match fixing. And to make the game better: anonymised statistics about games and platforms.

5 Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your data. It is only seen by: our infrastructure providers (storage and delivery), Google — if you choose to sign in with Google, and moderators — strictly within the scope of a specific report.

6 How long we keep it

Account and statistics — until you delete the account in your profile (“🗑 Delete account” — immediate and irreversible). Guest profiles live for about a year after the last visit. Reports and the moderation log — up to three years: fair play requires it.

7 Your rights

You can view and edit your data in your profile, change your nickname and language, delete the account entirely, and withdraw consent for analytics cookies. Questions and requests — via our support form; we reply like humans, not like a call centre script.

8 Children

The game is for players aged 13 and over — by signing up you confirm this. If we learn about a younger account, we will delete it together with its data.

9 Changes to this policy

If the policy changes in any meaningful way, we will say so right on the site rather than bury it in a footnote. The last-updated date is always shown at the top.
